A lot of characters barely get the spotlight, and are immediately forgotten. Some characters are only part of one quest, then forgotten.

The characters you've created are really great and I was disappointed that once I finished the "required" conversations through quests there seemed to be no more reason for some of them to exist, such as my own MOM and friends I live with. That taught me there was no reason to go back and talk to anyone, so I believe I delayed getting a couple of quests because I didn't expect the characters to have anything else to say to me, and only happened upon them once I went back to an area.
