Select Room without selecting Room Objects in the build mode

You need to click the Room during build mode to check room information (Bedroom number, Score, Guest info), but is really difficult to select the room without click the items placed in the room.
Maybe clicking the room with ctrl pressed the game selects the room not the item.
Right now, I have to remove room rugs to being able to select the room

canopy"Locking" items would be helpful too - such as locking a rug so you can't select it while trying to move a bed.
