Quickest Switch Navigation
On the Switch, it takes a lot of button presses to perform simple tasks like placing furniture. Some improvements should be made to reduce the clicks needed to accomplish tasks
For example, when we craft furniture, give the option to place it immediately without having to go into the build menu inventory. If we're inside of a building & we've unlocked to not have to use the crafting table, let us place items while looking at our inventory instead of having to back out & get into the build menu. Cooking is really obnoxious... It took me too long to figure out on the Switch & requires way too many buttons & it's too easy to accidentally back out too far & lose progress. I saw a feature request to auto fill ingredients. That would help but it's still a confusing mechanic.

Tyler LeonhardtThis is the only reason why I haven’t recommended this game to friends on Switch. Controls are sooo tedious.

ChuckThe entire control scheme needs to be redone. It's horrendous and was the biggest reason I stopped playing and why I won't recommend the switch version to anyone.
It needs to be redesigned and the storage system needs to have buttons recapped to make sense.
X moves 1 single stack over
Make ZL take all
Make ZR dump all
Make it so taking all applies to the specified filter.
A lot needs to be redone for storage and controls -

DanniAgree with all of the above. I was so excited for the game but I stopped playing it quickly as I spent more time figuring out how to click things (even figuring out how to get onto the starter tips was frustrating), and totally agree with the cooking bit above. It really took me out of the game unfortunately. There’s a lot of ‘layered’ clicking. I imagine it’s great navigation for point and click so it is such a shame for switch users. I have also advised friends to avoid switch version :(
