Selling stuff

Being able to sell old furniture, materials,… would be really helpful, especially in the beginning when making money is still really hard. Besides, you could get rid of materials you don’t need anymore like the basic wood without just throwing them away and it would actually encourage the player to explore the map a little more for valuable treasures and materials!

I would like to back up this comment with the end game loop, I end up just waiting days for make money from the guests, and I have hired the npc to cook, and I have a lot of unused cooking material. I also noticed most of the items in the game seem to already have a monetary value attached to their tooltip. It would be a nice help to get to certain coin goals that come later in the game

+1. It was confusing that I see coin/prices on items in my inventory but there is no way to sell them. I ended up having to google it because I was just confused if I didn’t understand the mechanic to sell when I realized it’s not even in the game ):

Plus the issue that Flannel said. It’s frustrating to have money sitting in my inventory but having to wait days while guests cycle in/out to make money.

I’m playing on switch if that makes a difference.

I’d like to add that on the switch especially it’s hard to gain a lot of valuables. When you buy a lower level decoration earlier on in the game and you stack up not knowing that things level up as you progress. So you have stacks of older stuff that used valuable valuables on. It would be a great feature if you could sell the lower level decoration for more valuables or at least half the cost it was to buy. And you could sell it in the back to Took at the dumpster. I’d also like to see more storyline for Took too! Thanks.

i keep accidentally buying copy recipes and have old decorations and i have no idea how to get rid of any of it! This would be really helpful.

even if I just get a quarter of the valuables back, it just feels wrong to completely trash the stuff I bought and no longer need.
