A way to speed up time

So if anyone has played Cult of the Lamb, if you hold a button it speeds up time while your character stands and waits. It would help pass the time while you’re trying to complete quests for things like “complete 2+ stays” when all you need to progress the storyline is to complete that but the day just started and you’re standing around hoping time goes buy so you can dive back into content.
