This feature would allow players to take crafted furniture they no longer need and recycle and receive part of the initial material costs back.

StephanyThis is for me the most important thing. It is completely out of theme for the game to not being able to do this!

ChrisMaybe instead of the Bear doing the recycling, you use that giant machine behind the Junkyard office? Put stuff in the crusher, then pay the rats to do the recycling? That way the Boss gets his cut (and another way to spend trash).

StickyMaybe during recycling, it could also be possible to choose what kind of wood you get back, with a conversion rate (something like 5 plywood = 3 pinewood = 1 mahogany) so that you wouldn't end up with all one type of wood from recycling early furniture? This would make the wood you get back more useful. Or similarly, it would be great to be able to choose trash/valuable points to get back instead of materials.

ianWould it be possible to add a „sell” or „recycle” (to gain back some resources) option to the A24 Junkyard? I feel like I throw away a lot of things which could be repurposed in the game

MandyThis is my number 1 issue. The fact that you need to continually replace items with better and better versions and can only throw away the irrelevant items seems like an oversight. This is compounded by the limited inventory space and the unbalanced cost of items you must buy.

CamRecycling would be nice or an unlimited storage space. Alternatively, maybe consider making it so that players can use late-game materials to upgrade old furniture into higher tier furniture.

AlexandriaI would like if we could sell our old furniture for the dumpster money.

MicheI love Chris' idea of making this a trade system with the rats and utilizing the neat machine at the junkyard to crush up our old stuff into new materials to use :)

Isabellathis feature would change the game for me… super frustrating having a bunch of furniture items you don’t know what to do with late game

Marko GriffinIt just makes sense to recycle the old furniture. You're already seeing old stuff all over the game as you explore, it would be clear that you would recycle what you make and don't need. If "over use" is a potential scare for Devs, then make it "half worth" so something that took 20 wood planks to build only gives back 10 etc.

MunchkinianI'm still pretty early in the game and it's already my number one issue. It seems silly that I raid the tip for parts from old couches and washing machines and that I can't sell, recycle, upgrade or even crush my old beds, toilets, etc. It doesn't fit with the rest of the game and causes a headache with inventory.
